SCYTHES & SICKLES

Photograms of scythes and sickles were made using some of the exhibits from the Mahtra Peasantry Museum. I used these tools, made by the ancestors and worn out by their continuous use and sharpening, and adding garnishes of various plants, to compose different shapes, figures and patterns on the photo paper.

Fotogrammid vikatitest ja sirpidest valmisid Mahtra Talurahvamuuseumi eksponaatidest. Neid esivanemate sepistatud ja luisates,ihudes, teritades kulunud tööriistu fotopaberile komponeerides, neile taimedest garneeringuid lisades moodustasin erinevaid kujundeid.
